Jennie is a long-time family friend, and I feel incredibly honored to have been asked to photograph her wedding. It was an awesome reunion with people I grew up around. I got some pretty sweet "payback" photos of everyone who picked on me as a little tike-- all in good fun, of course :]

Austin's second birthday

School has started again! I've been a little out of sorts, but hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things pretty quickly.

Here is the latest event: Austin's second birthday! I had never been to Gymboree before- it was quite an experience.

I truly love photographing little kiddies. They are so animated!

Big and Rich

I shot some photos of Big and Rich for Clear Channel after the Rays game last night. Though I'm not an avid baseball fan, the game was ridiculously fun. Honestly, it might have been the first time I truly enjoyed watching baseball- enough to even make me want to go back! Not enough to make me want to watch it on TV though... One step at a time, right? :]

Thanks to the nice people sitting behind me who pointed out Cowboy Troy in his box seat! And thanks to Cowboy Troy who quickly posed for the camera.

Shooting the concert was such a rush. It was pretty neat to be so close to the guys who wrote my favorite line dancing song.

..Yes, I used to line dance. Every week, in fact! It's great cardio and surprisingly fun. Don't knock it til you try it, folks. :]

Angela and Michael

My boss, Evelio, and I did an engagement session for Angela and Michael, whose wedding I get to shoot at the beginning of September. What a beautiful couple!! Although it was humid and EARLY (I am not at all a morning person), we had a good time, and they were absolute troopers.
